Never Take Trash Home Again
MOOP Be Gone provides environmentally safe management of
waste collection, treatment, recycling, and disposal services of liquid and solid waste
streams. We are responsible for operating seven landfills, five
transfer stations, and four transfer bin sites. We also provide information to the residents of Black Rock City and
surrounding communities regarding recycling and ways to reduce their overall waste
footprint.
MOOP Be Gone's innovative Trash Pass
allows those attending the Burning Man Festival an easy & effective way of
managing Playa Waste. Participants can request a waste container within
their Theme Camp for pickup or drop off their Trash at our Waste Disposal Center just
outside the gate as they leave the Burning Man Event.
MOOP Be Gone works in partnership with
key Northern Nevada manufacturers, retailers, local authorities
and Federal Regulators in helping our customers to:
- Dispose of waste efficiently and safely
- Reduce waste disposal costs
- Comply with legislation and
environmental requirements
- Eliminate roadside trash dumping on Hwy 440 & I-80
- Promote - Reduce, Re-Use and Recycle
We strive to provide a center where
recycling will create new products from old ones. We
make the process easy, helping you to maximize your recycling
and minimize your effort.
Including Commercial & Residential refuse pickups in the
Northern Nevada expanse, and the services provided to the Burning Man Festival,
MOOP Be Gone transports ~9 million tons of waste each year.
